~ Welcoming autumn with open mugs and pint glasses. ~ Long sleeve weather and patio bonding at Odell Brewing ~ fall vibes. - Sadie I just realized it was a 100% coffee and beer week. Got together with friends and the beer spread was all Missouri beers - Perennial17, Boulevard Red IPA and Six Row Porter that I cellared for a bit. Also, discovered Six Row is on hold with brewing. - Jason Rainy day celebrations of National Coffee day happened to the hum of Old Town on a Tuesday at Bean Cycle Roasters. - Sadie I've been cutting down on my coffee from the home office since I'm out daily. Last week's bag of beans was the delicious Kaldi's El Salvador Los Bellotos El Capulin. That's a mouthful. - Jason It's primetime sports season in KC. Michael and I've been taking advantage of it by attending games. Friday night was spent at the AL Central Champion Royals game separately, on opposite ends of the stadium, with our families. I was luckily positioned close to Boulevard's Pub, and took part. - Jason Margarita Monday's at La Luz are just always a good choice. - Sadie On the KCMO side, stopped by McLain's for a doughnut and latte (of Thou Mayest), a brew of Guatemala at Oddly Correct, and since I had Oddly's coffee already I went with Blueprint (out of St. Louis) at Quay Coffee. - Jason I continued my rounds visiting KC fall Caffeine Crawl shops. Checked out Midwest Coffee Trading's new location and had an Ethiopian natural they sourced on a unique brew method that they'll release on the Crawl. On that same trek went by Maps Coffee / Velo+ bike shop for a brew of Kenya. Both of these spots will be cool and one-of-a-kind stops on the Crawl. - Jason When I'm not drinking Pumpkick, I'm pretending is still summer with more Loveland Ale Works Raspberry Sour on tap at Pour Brothers. Creature of habit, guys, and not a bit sorry. - Sadie ~ Join the Conversation ~
