~ Jason headed to the mountains for the first weekend of Colorado Caffeine Crawls, and team drinks were in no short supply. ~ Sadie loves Social in Ft. Collins, so guess where we went the night before the Crawls? Yep, Social, and every cocktail on the table lived up to her hype. My cocktail was a barrel-aged Gin, fresh lemon, peach bitters, grenadine, and ginger beer. Not too sweet and it all worked well together. - Jason Even though I knew I'd be consuming a lot of coffee once I got to Colorado, I had to make a few stops along the way checking out new places in Kansas - Sparrow Coffee in Manhattan and Union Station in Hays. - Jason We kicked off Crawl Fort Collins & Boulder Thursday night with a latte art throw down at Barista Pro Shop, happily supplemented by a keg of saison from Loveland Ale Works. Colorado has such an advantage. Sitting at Upslope with good company and a couple of their beers while glancing up at the mountains is just unfair. I highly reccommend that a beer lover passing through visit their locations. - Jason A going away present for Savannah from Ça Va in KC, a bottle of Joel Falmet Tradition Brut highlighted a weekday evening as we toasted her new FoCo adventures! - Sadie Sadie and I were exhausted from the weekend's Caffeine Crawls, so kept it low key post event to save energy for this weekend. I watched the Hall of Fame inductees with a Equinox Brewing Vernal Hefeweizen, and the next morning left town with a stop at Boxcar for a capp that I took up to the mountains. - Jason Showing Savannah around Fort Collins is my favorite, and taster flights on the patio at Odell Brewing never disappoints! - Sadie After hanging out in my fridge for a bit, and this Introvert IPA from Left Hand Brewing joined me for some down time in between Colorado Caffeine Crawls. - Sadie Sadie, Savannah, and I, along with Ella and Sydni, the other tour guides, grubbed well at Restaurant 415 after the Ft. Collins event. The food was nice, but also enjoyed my cocktail, a Cane and Flower with Flor de Caña rum. - Jason In between all the excellent coffee from Caffeine Crawl Boulder & Fort Collins, a few brews of Manantiales del Frontino Colombia from Bows and Arrows Coffee Roasters in Victoria, B.C. kept me going strong. - Sadie ~ Join the Conversation ~
