Crows Coffee Caffeine Crawl 2016 Recipes

Grey-Line Panna Cotta

This light desert is a take on the flavors of a London Fog and can be made in any small vessel but a tapered, clear one works well for unmolding (optional).

In sauce pan bring to a boil on medium-low heat (stirring constantly):

2 cups heavy cream
2 cups whole milk
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon honey
3 tablespoons Hugo Tea Grey-Line

Once foamy and almost to a boil, turn off heat and steep for 15 minutes.
In separate bowl, add together:

1 packet of gelatin (or 2 teaspoons)
2 teaspoons cool water

After 15 minutes, add and stir gelatin mixture to milk mixture.
Pour through strainer to remove tea, then decant into ramekins/molds with honey coating the bottom.
Chill overnight. Serve in container with a honey drizzled on top, or unmold for a delicate presentation.

Apple Caraway Espresso Punch

A shrub is a syrup with vinegar; making cocktails with a shrub yield a sweet and sour punch. The espresso in the drink causes the sparkling water to foam up for dramatic effect.

2 ounces espresso
2 ounces Union Horse Reunion Rye whiskey
2 ounces Kansas City Canning Co. Apple Caraway shrub

Shake for 15 seconds and strain into a pint glass with 4 ounces of fresh ice.
Slowly fill with sparkling water, club soda, or tonic water.
