~ Sadie's trip to H-town didn't disappoint ~
After a pleasant morning flight, my first stop in Houston at Red Dessert Dive provided a delicious sandwich and too many sweet treat options to count. I happily chose a chocolate chip cookie and was quite pleased. A good meeting with John at another new Crawl stop, Ahh, Coffee! was accompanied by a Copper Ale from Buffalo Bayou Brewing, and I went home with a tasty bag of Nicaraguan from Argus Coffee Co.
A shakerato fueled a few hours of emails at Boomtown Coffee in the Heights.
A bag of Greenway Coffee's El Salvador accompanied me home after several great cups of caffeination at Blacksmith Coffee. Quite possibly the best Oatmeal Cream Pie of my life was a delicious accompaniment to a lavender cortado at another new Crawl shop, Common Bond Cafe and Bakery.
A lovely cup of coffee and the peaceful ambiance of Paper Co. kicked off my second morning in town, and lunch at Hugo's was enjoyed alongside a local pale ale. A great meeting from Stephen of Retrospect Coffee Bar happened over cappuccino's at Mercantile.
Day two wound down with an iced chai on the patio at Catalina Coffee before drinks and laughs with the awesome InterAmerican Coffee crew at Julep.
A new found favorite, Tout Suite delivered refreshing house-squeezed juice & avocado toast alongside a great caffeinated lineup and pastry options. Stoked to have them on this year's Crawl!
Siphon Coffee, Southside Espresso and Double Trouble are always on our list when we're in Houston, and I had a lovely meal with a whiskey cocktail at Down House Houston. Great ambiance there as well, and would definitely go back!
