// A cup of coffee with that Golden Globe? //
Not all of our Read of the Weeks will strictly cover the depths of beverages. In a lot of cases drinks will play a role, but life’s day-to-day happenstances we find interesting might be the focal point overall. I’m a big fan of The Coffeetographer’s work, and who Chérmelle Edward is as a person from afar (we haven’t met in person, yet.). If you haven’t read any of her work you can find it here.
I found her story on Golden Globe nominees and capturing coffee and tea throughout the films, and promotional videos, clever and interesting. To note, wine makes a guest appearance, also. There are several layers to this story that I connect with, but it reinforces how much drinking together is a part of our human DNA. Yes, let's break bread together, but also let's pour, toast, and sip. And, note some great stories in the references she makes in this article - Fences, Loving and Crown.
