~ Sadie toured Boulder & Colorado Springs, and Jason sipped bevs in KC. ~ I brewed a cup of Conscious Coffees' Congo before I left for Boulder, and had it cold brewed on NItro tap at The Cup Espresso Cafe that afternoon. Such a fun taste comparison! - Sadie Sadie spent a few days in Colorado Springs, and a Switchback Coffee Roasters Ethiopian pourover at Fifty Fifty Coffeehouse was a delightful start to the morning. They'll be hosting Caffeine Crawl routes and the after party on August 14th, and we're stoked! - Sadie Taking the scenic route into Manitou Springs - past Garden of the Gods, through some afternoon mountain fog and down the steep, winding roads - set the mood with a Patagonian feel and delighted anticipation. Radiantly Raw's new space in Manitou delivered, and several blueberry lavender truffles sealed the deal - can't wait to kick off Colorado Springs Caffeine Crawl routes at this picturesque space! - Sadie Got back to making Kansas City coffee rounds and drank something different at each shop. All 4 drinks I'd go back for - espresso at Headrush Roasters, PT's Coffee fruit infused bottled brew, One More Cup's rootbeer float with local Lost Trails soda, and the Arnold Palmer'ish coffee drink at Second Best. - Jason The party's at Upslope Brewing, hosted by Dragonfly Coffee Roasters after Caffeine Crawl Boulder, and we did a "practice run" with a Blood Orange Saison after checking in with 10 cafes in 4 1/2 hours! We can safely say it will be a good time. - Sadie OZO's cafe on Pearl street was bustling as always, and the view from the bar provided good drinks and good people watching. - Sadie I took part in National Pina Colada day on Friday, but have to say that I enjoyed my Ward 8 riff that I made using George Dickel Rye and Cherry Heering more. The home cocktail won this round. - Jason We're stoked to be adding Trident Booksellers and Cafe to the Caffeine Crawl Boulder lineup this year, and I had a great chat with Peter and an iced tea on their shade covered patio. Such a cool space! - Sadie Wild Goose Meeting House offers an eclectic, book filled community space, Switchback coffee via Modbar & a great selection of local beers on tap. Dry Dock's Apricot Blonde was the perfect afternoon refresher. - Sadie The Principal's Office at Ivy Wild is a unique mix of great coffee, cocktails, and tongue-in-cheek word play. Offering pours from Caffeine Crawl Denver roasters like Novo and Sweet Bloom, I sipped a cappuccino to fuel my morning and came back for cocktails on the patio after hours. - Sadie ~ We didn't have room to list all the great things we drank at Colorado Crawl shops this week, but Caffeine Crawl Boulder & Colorado Springs' first Crawl will be incredible! Don't miss out - grab your tickets & we'll see you for a summer mountain buzz. ~ ~ Join the Conversation ~
