Top Ten Tuesday ~ KC Life

~ Caffeine Crawl KC + the kickoff to Kansas City Coffee & Tea Week meant the whole team was in our hometown at the same time, and we drank like it! ~ 

Brews from Headrush Roasters & a sweet moment with Askinosie Chocolate bars fueled pre-Crawl prep - we also all went home with a small sample of an Ethiopia Sidamo and an Earl Grey tea from Headrush.

Sadie hadn't had a chance to have a Black Mesa beer in MO since distribution started. We solved that with a stop at Beer Kitchen for good food and an ESB. 
​

A stellar presentation, as always - coffee mocktails, single origin and 'Tis the Season blend espresso at Kaldi's Coffee kicked off several Caffeine Crawl routes from River Market. 
​

Pre-Crawl and post-Crawl stops for us at Bier Station included a mix of brews from River North and the  Cigar City + Boulevard collaboration. 
​

Not only did Phil & Ozzie put on a great presentation for Caffeine Crawl, Sadie enjoyed a lovely cappuccino in between meetings at PT's in the Crossroads. 
​

Day 2 of 3: Caffeine Crawl KC marathon was celebrated with margaritas at Port Fonda, and we were so pleased to have Jeff from Midwest Coffee Trading join us. 

We're loving Midwest Coffee Trading's new Brew Gallery at PlexPod, and sipped brews from their Alpha Dominche Steampunk plus a Torn Label Brewing + Thou Mayest collaboration coffee wheat beer.

Sipping tea in Hugo's new warehouse and retail space was a great experience, and Sadie took home some awesome swag as a souvenir. 
​​

Some of the best cocktails we've had for a while as a team, and we've been to some pretty well known bars - cheers to Valdez Campos at BLVD Tavern for the amazing drinks - Boulevardier, Pacific Coast Highway, Highland Rogue, and the Sporting KC.

Kate blows us away every year with a new twist on science-meets-coffee awesomeness, and this Caffeine Crawl stop at Parisi was no exception. Sadie kept the good vibes flowing with a cappuccino at the Union Station cafe before heading back to FoCo.
