~ Michael in Ft. Worth, Jason in KC & Sadie in FoCo - summer was delicious across the board this week. ~ Cocktails accompanied a delightful dinner at The Kitchen - Fort Collins - pictured is a Blackberry Bourbon Sour - W.L. Weller Bourbon, blackberry liqueur, lemon juice & simple syrup. Delicious. - Sadie I went on this experimental coffee run with cold brews this week. Several Kyoto trials of Boston Stoker or ReAnimator coffees with different combos of Rishi Tea and Askinosie Chocolate. To complement that I had great drinks at PT's Coffee and Second Best with some industry folks. - Jason When we travel we always check out local breweries, wineries and distilleries. Texas is a hotbed for up and coming (and sometimes already "on the scene") options. A Rahr & Sons Rahr Blonde (Munich Style Helles Lager) from Fort Worth while in town started our evening last week. - Michael Stopping by the Thursday night Farmer's Market at the soon-to-be open Jessup Farm Artisan Village. Landed cold brew samples and a tour through the awesome space that will house Bindle Coffee, good roasts, and all manner of fresh baked empanada glory. Love it and can't wait! - Sadie A Friday night by the pool with great friends made another hard work week so worth it. Pours of Prichard’s Double Chocolate Bourbon and a Tallgrass Buffalo Sweat supported laughs and baseball talk. - Jason Negroni week might be over but that has never stopped Michael. A Genius Liquids Gin version at local favorite Whiskey & Rye started the weekend festivities off with a kick. - Michael A Caffeine Crawl Fort Collins themed afternoon meant a bottle of smooth cold brew from The Coffee Registry at Everyday Joe's while organizing Colorado Crawl details. - Sadie Not local in its ingredients but the "Ricky Bobby" at Frankie's Sports Bar & Grill in Fort Worth was a perfect match for watching the U.S. Women's National Soccer team take on China in the 2015 World Cup. Evan Williams Bourbon, peach nectar, sweet tea and mint over ice. Tasted as good as it sounds. - Michael The first of many "Grape Explorations" occurred after hours at Harbinger Coffee, with blind tastings of several bottles proving educational and delicious. I look forward to many more with savory expectations. - Sadie Check back later this week for Sadie's San Diego City Highlight from her recent trip! ~ Join the Conversation ~
