BeverageLife ~ Colorado to Chicago
~ While Jason sipped his way through Caffeine Crawl prep in the Windy City, Sadie soaked up spring sunshine with local beers, coffee & chocolate. ~
Beers with new friends on the patio of Pour Brothers wrapped up a week of good drinks and gorgeous weather in FoCo - brews on tap from New Belgium, Dry Dock Brewing & Funkwerks. ~ Sadie
My week included quick trip to Boulder for a capp from Boxcar Coffee and (obviously) a tasty trip to Piece, Love & Chocolate (more details on that here), plus a bottle of Monte Antico red that kept me company over Saturday night pasta & netflix. ~ Sadie
By far my highlight last week was my trip to Chicago. On Tuesday, my phone said that I logged in 15.1 miles on foot. Of course, I took the L also, but I really wanted to get my arms wrapped around some of the neighborhoods and coffee and tea shops. No better way than to walk, very, very fast. You'll be able to read more about my top visits from Chicago, but the hospitality, drink and food combo at both Bottlefork and downstairs at Three Dots and a Dash has been one of my best back-toback stops all year. It's hard to beat a good, local IPA with housemade Spam and octopus followed by a well-crafted tiki drink. I mean, a very well-crafted drink. - Jason
Tune in tomorrow for the highlight reel of Jason's trip to Chicago on Top Ten Tuesday!
